Grace Alive Students Update

Hey Family!

For those who don’t know me, my name is Matthew Utile, I’ll be serving as the Student Ministry Coordinator here at Grace Alive. To tell you little bit about myself, I’m currently a student at Reformed Theological Seminary, which is located here in Orlando. I am pursuing my Master’s degree in biblical studies and I’m extremely excited about this opportunity to serve and raise up the next generation of disciples through our student ministry.

With that being said, I would like inform our families about some quick updates so that everyone is aware of what’s happening within our ministry. As launch day is quickly approaching, we would like to take a poll amongst the parents of 5th-12th grade students. In this poll, please let us know what day will be most convenient for you to bring your students to our youth gatherings.

Our current options are: Sunday nights, Wednesday nights, or Friday nights. If you can, please drop your preference to us at info@gracealive.church. We greatly appreciate it as we finalize our plans!

Also, we are excited about the opportunity to take our students to Word of Life Youth Camp on June 20th – June 26th. The focus of Word of Life Youth Camp is ultimately to reach the next generation for the Glory of God. These camp leaders have a passion for sharing the gospel to students in order that they can take what they have learned at camp and apply it to their local context when they return home. I believe that this camp will be extremely beneficial for your student by helping them discover who Christ is, deepen in their relationship with him, and learn how to display that relationship to a lost, broken, and sinful world. In addition, this is a wonderful opportunity for our students to build relationship with other believers their age and leave encouraged by the fellowship they received while attending camp. We will also have the opportunity to receive the Word from our very own pastor during the entire week of camp.

This Sunday we will begin collecting payments of $75 which will reserve one spot for camp. If you have any questions about payments, please feel free to contact us at info@gracealive.church.

Lastly, our vision as a body is to reach our neighbors, nations, and generations! With that being said, we’re looking for people who are interested in being a part of the student ministry team in order to disciple the next generation. This is a tangible way you can make the vision of our church a reality. If you are interested, please reach out to us at info@gracealive.church to get a Family Ministry Application. Also, we will be hosting a student ministry leadership training in the near future, so be on the lookout for that! Throughout this meeting, we will be discussing on-boarding policies (as previously described), the outlook of the year for student ministry, and how we as a team want our youth gatherings to be ran.

I truly believe great things will happen through the student ministry. I believe God is about to raise up the next generation of disciples who are on fire for Christ and the spread of the Gospel. I ask that you please be in prayer for the student ministry leaders as well as the students that will be in our ministry. I pray that we can impact not only the students at our church, but those who are outside of our walls and see young people come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ as well.

- Love you Family, be blessed!
