Join us for Family Night

In the last few months I have been extremely thankful for all God has done in our church. Souls have been reached. People have been baptized. Families have been added. Praise the Lord!

As we walk into 2022, I am highly anticipating all the future opportunities that await us to reach more people for Christ. One particular opportunity is Family Night.

At Grace Alive, we always say we are not like a family but we are a family. Family Night will give us an additional avenue to practice that reality.

At Family Night, we will have Bible study with our adult members. The saints will be equipped in essential areas like apologetics and church history. For our teenagers, our student ministry will be offered with relevant teaching and fun games. Lastly, we plan to launch an amazing program called AWANA for our kids!

The opportunity for discipleship won’t stop there. We will also launch our new class Discover Grace Alive. It will serve as the next tangible step for attenders and new believers to become members at the church.

It is my hope that these Bible studies will deepen our faith and serve as an aid to our Sunday gatherings. Adding another gathering during the week also allows our church to cross pollinate and fellowship with other members. Interestingly, it also provides a worship opportunity for many people who work in the tourist industry within our city and often work the weekends.

As a result of Family Night, our Community Groups will transition to Care Groups. The greatest change within this transition is that Groups will no longer be weekly nor tethered to a study guide. Instead, Care Groups will meet bi-weekly in various places with an emphasis on care and fellowship. Hopefully this cultivates more intentionality to connect with members and encourage accountability. Practically this will free up the weekly burden of Group Leaders during this season of the church as well. We also hope this will allow young families to flourish with additional discipleship opportunities more conducive to young children and school schedules.

Healthy things grow. And growing things change. I have been in awe as our church grows and matures. I believe this next phase and emphasis on discipleship will be another milestone of maturity in the life of our young church. Join us for family night!

For God’s Glory,

Pastor Cam
